Qatar Airways Boeing 787 Collides with Airbus A350 at Doha Airport

Qatar Airways parked Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner plane collided with another parked new Airbus QR A350-900 on Thursday 30 April at Hamad international airport due to high wind of 70 Knots and stormy weather. According to aircraft maintenance manual guidelines, the airport has been temporarily suspended due to extreme weather with heavy dusty winds. Official statement about the incident Qatar Airways posted on Twitter :
According to Automatic terminal information service, or ATIS information winds in Doha were gusting up to 61 knots.

CCTV footage taken at the airport yesterday shows how the parked aircraft moves due to the force of the wind and the cockpit of the Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner hit the right side fuselage of the Airbus A350.
In this rare incident, only the aircraft suffered minor damage because aircraft was parked and no one was onboard so no injury to passengers or crew members.
