All scheduled commercial flights across the UAE were grounded their fleet earlier due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now Emirates Airline has received UAE government approvals to operate passenger flights. Emirates Airline announced to start of limited passenger services from April 6, 2020.
The chairman of the Emirates Group and also the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum officially announced the decision in a tweet
Emirates has received approval from UAE authorities to start flying a limited number of passenger flights. From 06 April, these flights will initially carry travellers outbound from the UAE. Details will be announced soon. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/fnhLxQanIM

Emirates also tweet on this decision and plan to bring UAE nationals home for free on all flights. The UAE nationals can contact their closest UAE embassy for assistance. Emirates initial flights from 6 April to London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich and Brussels will only carry passengers outbound from Dubai.
